G. Greeley Wells Jr.

At age 65 years young, I’ve spent a life in the fine arts, doing oil painting, figure drawing, photography, and digital prints. My work is primarily figurative, though I have also been inspired to do ala prima (one sitting), plein air (in the open air) landscape painting as well. Since I arrived in the Applegate Valley in the late 1980’s, I have had several exhibits, commissions (including the city of Jacksonville), and was an artist in residence for the Schnieder Museum of Art at Crater Lake. This is my twelfth one-person show.
