So many books, so little time

Philosophically speaking:  Here’s my P.O.V. re. what I look for in a good book, ie. my peculiarities and opinions which you may well want to avoid.  You can see I enjoy a bit of word play and humor added to my rather serious choice of topics.  Topics of most of my reading include:  history, science, anthropology, a bit of geology and the merging of these topics, as many book do.  This arena  for me is a dip into a greater understanding of what it is to be a human on this planet.  I’m trying to see myself more and more accurately in the context of my humanness.
